Pueblo Brain Injury, LLC and Re-Inspired Minds nonprofit provide services to those who have been impacted by brain injuries in Pueblo County.

Through collaboration with the Green Thumb Initiative Eric Matranga, a Contemporary Painter from Canon City, CO. provides a weekly art workshop at the Center Toward Self-Reliance on Friday's at 1 pm. Eric works individually to find the best medium, and tools to assist in sharpening fine motor skills and visual perception. It has improved concentration, attention, and boosted problem-solving skills. The art workshop has allowed individuals to decide what to create and how to create it. There is no wrong way, that is the beauty of art.

Reception will take place on March 6th, 2026.
