Join Pueblo's own Home Hearth Pottery to create a fired and glazed ceramic garlic keeper designed to keep your garlic always ready for the kitchen—or for unexpected visitors after dark. Inspired by old-world hearth traditions, gothic castle kitchens, and Dracula-era folklore, participants will create a functional ceramic vessel with rustic charm and protective symbolism.
This is a two-part pottery series, and attendance at both sessions is required to complete the project. During Part 1, participants will hand-build their garlic keeper from clay, shaping and decorating the piece before it is left behind to slowly dry and undergo its first kiln firing. Two weeks later, participants will return for Part 2 to glaze their garlic keepers with moody colors and finishing details before the pieces are fired a second time to create a durable, finished ceramic vessel ready for use at home.
Perfect for fans of pottery, folklore, cozy gothic aesthetics, and practical handmade kitchenware, this series blends creativity with functional design in a warm and atmospheric studio setting.
Registration is required.
