Day 1: Cartooning Basics Day 2: Style & Exaggeration
May 9: Cartooning Basics - Learn how to turn real people into stylized characters. We’ll cover how to use simple shapes, exaggerate features, and draw expressive faces and poses. You’ll also start designing your own character through fun, hands-on drawing exercises.
May 10: Style & Exaggeration - Take your cartooning further by learning how to analyze photos and exaggerate features in your own style. You’ll refine a character design, explore different drawing styles, and push expressions and poses to make your work more dynamic.
Both events will take place in the Makerspace at the Rawlings Branch.
