Guest speaker Sara L. Dawson teaches the basics of using DNA in family history research! Meets in the Friends of the Library room on the first floor.

Whether you’ve taken a DNA test or if you are just interested in learning more about how DNA testing can help you in your genealogical research, this class is designed to give an overview of the five major testing companies, what tests they perform, and what to expect when reading your results. We will also get you started creating genetic family trees. Guest speaker is genealogist and historian Sara L. Dawson of Descent Detective from Brighton, Colorado. This program takes place in the Friends of the Library room on the first floor.
