Join Professor Annie Dawid as she reads from and discusses her historical fiction, Paradise Undone: A Novel of Jonestown. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments provided.
Professor Annie Dawid will read from her historical fiction, PARADISE UNDONE: A NOVEL OF JONESTOWN, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of writing fiction, as opposed to non-fiction, about a very real and painful moment in American history, and entertain questions from the audience, after offering a brief history of the Peoples Temple and the Jonestown massacre, for those who need more information — and for those not born at the time. This event is generously supported by a Colorado Humanities grant.
