Friends of the LibraryLearn the first steps in uncovering your family history. We’ll examine record types, tools, and library resources to help you put together the pieces of your family’s story.
This program will introduce genealogy research processes and organization, including pedigree charts, family group sheets, and research logs. We’ll look at records typically used in family history research, such as vital records, military records, immigration records, censuses, newspapers, directories, and many more. Finally, everything we’ve learned will be illustrated with a short case study.
