Tracing an immigrant ancestor’s roots without knowing exactly where they come from can be challenging. Join us to discover tips and records that can provide an immigrant ancestor’s hometown.

Researching an immigrant ancestor’s life prior to their arrival in the United States often requires knowing the town from which they came. The answer to their place of origin often lies in records created in the United States. In this program learn to examine your ancestor’s life in the U.S. to make connections to their life before immigrating.
