Join Pueblo natives John Johnson and Bryan Sisson as they present their 1988 film, Curse of the Blue Lights. Q/A to follow the film screening. Popcorn, sodas, and full-sized chocolate bars provided.

John Johnson owned Pueblo’s Tamarack Productions Inc. He directed and shot Damon Runyon’s Pueblo. He directed, shot, edited and wrote Zebulon Pike and the Blue Mountain and Curse of the Blue Lights. All of John’s films are based upon Pueblo history or lore.


Bryan Sisson was John’s assistant at Tamarack for 6 years. Bryan worked on both Zebulon Pike and The Blue Mountain and on Curse of the Blue Lights. On Blue Lights he had many roles: he was Blue Lights story Co-writer, Asst. Director, Asst. Film Editor and was Head of Makeup Effects.


John and Bryan, both Pueblo natives, will be present at the library’s screening and answer questions after the film’s presentation.
