Join us for National Honey Bee Awareness Day and make a natural furniture polish using beeswax. Registration is required.

The third Saturday in August is recognized as National Honey Bee Day. The event was started in 2009 by a small group of beekeepers who petitioned for a holiday honoring honey bees and beekeeping. That same year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) officially proclaimed August 22nd as the first National Honey Bee Awareness Day (also known as National Honey Bee Day).
