PWP MVX PRO Safety/Crash Testing

Lamb Library will welcome Ben Bakkum from MxV. MxV is the world’s premier rail advisory because they have the expertise to keep the industry moving forward, towards safer equipment and people, towards more transformative technology, toward more efficient operations and fewer emissions. Ben Bakkum is an engineer with an expertise in track construction and special trackwork, including the new tracks built at the facility at Pueblo. He has overseen construction and maintenance of these tracks, which include a track with a crash wall. Ben also uses data from the tracks and crash wall to analyze everything from how the vehicles are performing to the particular design of tracks and what lies beneath tracks. All of this work is done in order to design and build the most efficient and safest train infrastructure possible.
