Daniella Apodaca, a Latina Children's book author was born in Wichita, Kansas. Grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and Pueblo, Colorado. Daniella graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Daniella is a mother to her beautiful daughter Evelyn, whom inspired her to create, "Evelyn's First Practice". Her goal in life is to help and inspire as many kids as she can. This book speaks upon diversity on how we are all different and should never be ashamed of who we are and having the support of your parents will help you strive in life. Daniella wants children to know that this book was based on her personal experience and she knows that many others go through similar situations and that you are not alone.
