Registration required. Take a journey through the lives of influential black artists Augusta Savage, Jacob Lawrence, Gordon Parks, Jean Michel Basquiat and Kara Walker.

Understand their creativity, their struggle and how their artwork inspired the next generations of Black artists. Enjoy creating your own painting inspired by the famous artist, Jabob Lawrence. All supplies provided.

This class will be taught by Freda Hancock who teaches art at Roncalli
STEM Academy. Hancock's class on notable Black artists has been featured in the Pueblo Chieftain.
