Endangered Species: Here and Around the World

This project is a collaboration between the Pueblo Zoo whose focus is on the conservation of species from around the world and the NWDC whose focus is on native Colorado animals.

Did you know red pandas have flexible ankles that rotate 180 degrees that allow them to climb down trees head first? Or that wolves have long, lean legs balanced over wide feet with flexible toes, allowing for energy efficient locomotion, they can cover 50 plus miles a day!
