Idea Con returns to Rawlings Library on Saturday, August 17th.  Enjoy a celebration of fandom from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our popular cosplay contest sign up starts at 11 a.m. and the contest starts at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in each category.  Food will be available from the Three Birds Cafe.


Idea Con is free and open to all ages. We’ll see you there!

Two time Colorado Book Award finalist David R. Slayton grew up outside of Guthrie, Oklahoma, where finding fantasy novels was pretty challenging and finding fantasy novels with diverse characters was downright impossible.

Allison Gervais (local author)

Alison Gervais is the author of In 27 Days and The Silence Between Us, for which she received the 2020 Schneider Family Honor Book Award. Alison works at a nonprofit organization that provides services to people with disabilities and writes as often as she can. Currently she lives in Colorado with her husband and their two daughters.
